Led by Dr. Christopher Michaelis, a board-certified emergency physician with a specialized focus in Wound Care since 2016, Luminus is his new adventure—combining medical expertise with advanced, non-invasive aesthetics and evidence-based wellness.
Dr. Michaelis earned his medical degree from Pikeville College School of Osteopathic Medicine, completed his internship at St. Luke’s Hospital in Allentown, Pennsylvania, and went on to a three-year emergency medicine residency in Bethlehem. After eight years practicing emergency medicine, he transitioned to Wound Care, where he has become a respected advocate for innovation, education, and advancement in wound healing and prevention.
